The first 30 days

Free, and that means the whole app with nothing held back. 30 days instead of the usual two weeks, for one reason. The one thing a spreadsheet cannot do is carry your budget from one month into the next: the new-month prompt, yesterday's leftover, a savings goal moving. A two-week trial ends before any of that happens.

You pick a plan and enter a card to start it, and nothing is charged for 30 days. On day 30 the plan you picked begins at the price above and renews on its own, so if it is working for you, there is nothing to do. If it is not, cancel in Settings → Plan any time before that day and you are not charged at all. One free trial per household, and Stripe holds the card, not us.

Discount codes

If somebody gave you a code, enter it in Settings → Plan once you have an account. The card shows exactly what it takes off before anything is charged. Households that were here before there was anything to pay hold a code that covers the price in full, for good.

Canceling

From Settings, at any time. That includes the 30 free days, where canceling means you are never charged. After that you keep the app until the time you have paid for runs out. Canceling is not the same as deleting: your budget stays exactly as you left it. The Transactions screen saves every row as CSV or Excel whenever you want, whether you pay or not.
